About the iZ HERO e-Comic AppiZ HERO e-Comic App – Free VersionVersion 1.1®2013 iZ HERO Lab.The iZ HERO e-Comic App provides interactive comic stories with various learning quests that seek to teach young children about responsible digital citizenship through interactive, game-based learning. The app is a part of the iZ HERO Project©, a UNESCO ICT in Education Prize-winning, innovative educational entertainment program. The app is a free, demo version. iZ HERO Project The iZ HERO Project© (defined hereafter as the Project) is a UNESCO ICT in Education Prize-winning innovative educational entertainment program. It provides a safe and fun interactive experience for children to naturally learn about moral self-identity, empathy, and critical thinking. By developing these inner strengths, children are equipped to be able to confidently deal with cyber-risks prevalent in the digital world. In turn, children will have the opportunity to be more creative and responsible citizens of the digital world as they find the “HERO” within themselves.The Project was originally developed by infollutionZERO, a not-for-profit organization based in South Korea. The exhibition first debuted in 2011 at the National Science Museum of South Korea. The Project was further developed by infollutionZERO in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the National Institute of Education (NIE). The Project provides an integrated multimedia learning experience that includes a web game, an online portal, and comic books in addition to the interactive digital exhibition featured at the Singapore Science Centre. The Project has been developed by a team of world-leading experts from the media, cyber-wellness, education and game development fields who are committed to helping our future generations realize the true heroes within themselves amidst the evolving landscape of the digital world.The iZ HERO Project and related characters are registered and copyrighted by infollutionZERO and Nanyang Technological University. All rights reserved.
